Idea that organic is the best. Lots of people hold the idea that organic food means it’s food that will a person to lose weight. And while going organic on some foods is beneficial for nutrients (apples, lettuce, spinach, etc) for the greater degree organic foods are still the same. Organic cakes still have sugar, and still have powers to affect your waistline. Organic microwavable meals still are loaded in salt, and often times aren’t worth the huge price gap. Foods to follow organic with: fruits and veggies with edible skin, and meats. Always choose grass-fed, hormone free meat products. I’ll explain that story in another write.

As much as we love our comfort foods many persons now look for ways to turn them into healthier choices, using a lower fat content and fewer energy. We tweak those great recipes by the past so we maintain (or even improve) the taste but forgo among the fat, unhealthy carbs and sugar website content. And while most of us remain eating our favorite comfort foods, maybe it’s just a little less often.
